20 minutes via Google Meet. We identify your level, discuss your goal, and I sketch out what your personal learning plan could look like.
After the lesson you'll receive a personal learning plan. No obligation, no sales pitch.
Why Dutch Together
No standard course. Every lesson is tailored to your level, learning pace and goals — whether you're integrating, working or simply want to speak Dutch.
Weet precies waar je staat. De test meet je niveau op A1 t/m B1 en de resultaten worden in de proefles besproken.
Homework is corrected outside lesson time. So every minute of the lesson goes to speaking, practising and understanding.
Lessons in the morning, afternoon or evening — including weekends. Rescheduling possible up to 12 hours in advance, free of charge.
BOOM NT2 methods (Van Start, Opmaat, Inzicht, Vooruit) supplemented with own material, practice exams and current Dutch texts.
Lessons can be conducted in Dutch, English or Spanish, depending on your preference and level.

Your teacher
I'm Tim Biervliet — founder of Dutch Together and your NT2 teacher. I hold a Master's degree from the University of Amsterdam, a TEFL certificate and over 7 years of experience in online language teaching.
My approach: I adapt every lesson to your level, goals and pace. No standard textbook, no large groups — just you and a plan that works for you. Lessons in Dutch, English or Spanish.
Learning outside the lesson
Dutch Together believes students progress faster when they also use Dutch outside the lesson. It doesn't have to be intensive — small steps make a big difference.
Personal support
Your teacher is available between lessons too. So you never have to wait until the next lesson if you have a question or get stuck.
Written assignments are reviewed and provided with detailed feedback.
Emails, letters and texts corrected with explanations of the mistakes.
Extra explanation for difficult grammar points, whenever you need it.
Language questions that arise outside the lesson are answered quickly via email or WhatsApp.
