Personal lessons for anyone who moved to the Netherlands for love — or is about to. Join the conversation with your partner, in-laws and friends, and build a life in your new home country. Also suitable if you're still living abroad and preparing for the basic civic integration exam for your MVV application.
Learning Dutch as the partner of a Dutch citizen is about more than grammar: it's about belonging, being able to talk with your in-laws, and finding your own place.
Hold conversations with your partner, in-laws and friends in Dutch — without constantly having to translate or switch to English.
Many partners of Dutch citizens need to complete civic integration. We prepare you specifically for the level and components your route requires.
From grocery shopping to chatting with neighbours: the language is the key to a social life of your own in your new hometown.

🌍 Still living abroad? For an MVV (provisional residence permit) to join your Dutch partner, you often first need to pass the basic civic integration exam abroad (level A1), taken at a Dutch embassy or consulate. I guide you online, from wherever you currently live, focused on the Speaking and Knowledge of Dutch Society components. More information and the official conditions are available from the IND; you register for the exam via DUO. Get a head start with our free MVV practice exams (KNS, Speaking and Reading).
For anyone who moved to the Netherlands because the love of their life lives here — whether that was recently, a while ago, or is still ahead of you.
Not sure of your level yet? Take the free level test.
You can get started before you've even booked a lesson — especially useful if you're still abroad and need to arrange the MVV.
Personal, patient and focused on the conversations that really matter to you.
No years of grammar study before you're allowed to say anything. From lesson one you practise real conversations — mistakes and all, because that's how you learn fastest.
We practise the language you'll actually use at home and with the in-laws — birthdays, dinners, everyday conversations — instead of dry textbook dialogues.
Lessons adapt to your schedule. Free rescheduling up to 12 hours in advance — and once per lesson, even at the last minute.
Writing assignments are practised at home at your own pace, with detailed feedback — so every lesson minute goes to speaking and practice.
Whether you need civic integration or simply want to find your own place in the family — we determine the pace and focus that fits your goal together.
