What is the speaking part of the MVV Basic Exam?

The speaking exam consists of 22 items: 10 question-and-answer prompts and 12 sentences you complete out loud, often with a supporting picture. You have a maximum of 30 minutes. Pronunciation and direct feedback are hard to practise entirely on your own — an experienced NT2 teacher can speed this process up considerably.

Practise below with 22 sample sentences as multiple choice, in the same style as the real exam.

Practice Exam Speaking — sentence completion (multiple choice)

In the real speaking exam (22 items: 10 question-answer + 12 sentence completion) you complete sentences aloud. Practise here with multiple choice. 22 questions, indicatively 15 correct for "pass".
